California High School Football - Portola sneaks past University
October 16, 2025: Irvine, CA 92612 The Portola Bulldogs football squad scored 21 points and limited the host University Trojans to 20 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Thursday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Buena Park for a test on Thursday, October 23. Portola will meet a Coyotes squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Pacifica (Garden Grove, CA). The Coyotes record now stands at 1-1.
With the defeat, University drops to 0-2 on the year. The Trojans travel to Woodbridge (Irvine, CA) to face the Warriors in a challenge on Thursday, October 23. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 2-5. Woodbridge won 14-0 in their recent league challenge against Katella (Anaheim, CA)
