California High School Football - Woodbridge knocks off University
October 23, 2025: Irvine, CA 92604 Woodbridge Warriors (Irvine, CA) followers went home pleased Thursday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting University Trojans (Irvine, CA), 26-14 in a league battle.
With the win, Woodbridge advances its record to 3-5 on the season. The Warriors host Buena Park (Buena Park, CA) to play the Coyotes in a battle on Thursday, October 30. The Coyotes go into the battle with a record of 1-2. Buena Park lost 34-24 in their recent league battle against Portola (Irvine, CA)
The Trojans now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they host Rancho Verde for a non-league battle on Monday, October 27. University will play a Mustangs team coming off a 30-24 league win over Liberty (Winchester, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-7.
