Virginia High School Football - Gloucester can't hold off Lafayette
October 16, 2025: Williamsburg, VA 23188 Lafayette Rams (Williamsburg, VA) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team tip the visiting Gloucester Dukes (Gloucester, VA), 18-13 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Lafayette improves its record to 8-0 on the season. The Rams travel to York (Yorktown, VA) to meet the Falcons in a non-league test on Wednesday, October 22. The Falcons come into the test with a record of 0-7. York lost 40-8 in their recent non-league test against Smithfield (Smithfield, VA)
With the defeat, Gloucester moves to 4-3 on the campaign. The Dukes host Tabb (Yorktown, VA) to face the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, October 22. The Tigers go into the challenge with a record of 6-1. Tabb won 30-8 in their recent non-league challenge against York (Yorktown, VA)
