The Poquoson Islanders football team (Poquoson, VA), was crushed 42-7 in Thursday's non-league bout with the host Lafayette Rams (Williamsburg, VA)

With the win, Lafayette advances its record to 5-0 on the season. The Rams travel to Grafton (Yorktown, VA) to battle the Clippers in a non-league contest on Wednesday, October 1. The Clippers enter the contest with a record of 4-1. Grafton lost 22-6 in their recent non-league contest against Tabb (Yorktown, VA)

Coming up next, the Islanders battle the Jamestown Eagles (Williamsburg, VA) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, October 1. Poquoson will attempt to advance on its 1-4 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 1-3 record after their 36-0 non-league win over Bruton (Williamsburg, VA).
