Fans at Thursday's league contest between the New Albany Eagles (New Albany, OH) and the visiting Central Crossing Comets (Grove City, OH), saw New Albany's volleyball squad notch a victory over Central Crossing by a score of 3-0.

With the win, New Albany improves its record to 9-11 on the season. The Eagles host Hayes (Delaware, OH) to meet the Pacers in a non-league contest on Tuesday, October 21. The Pacers enter the contest with a record of 7-14. Hayes lost 3-1 in their recent non-league battle against Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, OH)

The Comets now own a 6-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Newark for a non-league battle on Tuesday, October 21. Central Crossing will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Lancaster (Lancaster, OH). The Wildcats record now stands at 17-5.
