October 16, 2025: New Orleans, LA 70115 Jefferson RISE Charter (Harvey, LA) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Cohen Green Hornets (New Orleans, LA), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Jefferson RISE Charter advances its record to 7-12 on the season. The travel to Sarah T. Reed (New Orleans, LA) to face the Olympians in a non-league test on Wednesday, October 22. The Olympians come into the challenge with a record of 3-13. Sarah T. Reed lost 3-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Pine (Franklinton, LA)
The Green Hornets (2-7) will now prepare for their game against Carver Collegiate Academy (New Orleans, LA). The Rams go into the non-league game with a 11-9 record. In their last game, Carver Collegiate Academy went down by Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy (Kenner, LA), 3-0, in a league outing.
