Sage Ridge Scorpions (Reno, NV) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Excel Christian Warriors (Sparks, NV), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Sage Ridge improves its record to 7-8 on the season. The Scorpions host Smith Valley (Smith, NV) to meet the Bulldogs in a 1A Western challenge on Tuesday, October 28. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 16-9. Smith Valley won 3-1 in their recent league challenge against Coleville (Coleville, CA)

Next, the Warriors meet the Mineral County Serpents (Hawthorne, NV) in a 1A Western challenge, on Tuesday, October 21. Excel Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record. The Serpents come into the challenge with a 7-20 record after their 3-0 league win over Sierra Sage Academy/Right Of Passage (Yerington, NV).
