Virginia High School Volleyball - South County overwhelmed by Fairfax

In Thursday's league challenge, the host Fairfax Lions volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the South County Stallions.

The Lions (12-6) will now prepare for their challenge against West Springfield (Springfield, VA). The Spartans come into the Patriot challenge with a 20-2 record. In their last challenge, West Springfield beat Lake Braddock (Burke, VA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Stallions meet the West Potomac Wolverines (Alexandria, VA) in a Patriot challenge, on Tuesday, October 21. South County will attempt to upgrade on its 7-11 season record. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a 5-9 record after their 2-0 league win over Woodson (Fairfax, VA).
