Virginia High School Volleyball - Franklin County over Staunton River

In Thursday's league challenge, the host Franklin County Eagles volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Staunton River Golden Eagles.

The Eagles (13-5) will now prepare for their challenge against William Byrd (Vinton, VA). The Terriers come into the Blue Ridge challenge with a 5-13 record. In their last challenge, William Byrd was beaten by Lord Botetourt (Daleville, VA), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Golden Eagles meet the Northside Vikings (Roanoke, VA) in a Blue Ridge challenge, on Tuesday, October 21. Staunton River will attempt to upgrade on its 9-8 season record.
