Massachusetts High School Volleyball - Ipswich overwhelmed by Newburyport

October 16, 2025: Newburyport, MA 01950

Newburyport Clippers (Newburyport, MA) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Ipswich Tigers (Ipswich, MA), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Newburyport upgrades its record to 15-4 on the campaign. The Clippers host Andover (Andover, MA) to play the Golden Warriors in a non-league challenge on Monday, October 20. The Golden Warriors go into the test with a record of 13-4. Andover lost 3-1 in their recent league test against Central Catholic (Lawrence, MA)

The Tigers now sport a 4-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hamilton-Wenham Regional for a Cape Ann test on Monday, October 20. Ipswich will face a Generals squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Lynn Classical (Lynn, MA). The Generals record now stands at 7-10.
