The Hoover Huskies smashed the visiting Lewis County Minutemen soccer squad by a margin of 8-2 in Monday's non-league match.

The Huskies now sport a 7-9 record. They play next when they travel to Elkins for a Big Ten match on Wednesday, October 19. Hoover will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 9-0 league win over Braxton County (Sutton, WV). The Tigers record now stands at 14-2.
