October 17, 2022: Research Triangle Park, NC 27709 In Monday's league battle, the host Research Triangle Raptors soccer squad scored a close 1-0 triumph over the Raleigh Charter Phoenix.
The Raptors (13-4) will now prepare for their battle against Falls Lake (Creedmoor, NC). The Firebirds come into the Super Six 1A/2A battle with a 9-7 record. In their last battle, Falls Lake was nudged by Franklin Academy (Wake Forest, NC), 3-0, in a league battle.
The Phoenix (5-7) will now prepare for their battle against NCSSM: Durham (Durham, NC). The Unicorns come into the Super Six 1A/2A battle with a 4-10 record. In their last battle, NCSSM: Durham nudged East Wake Academy (Zebulon, NC), 3-1, in a league battle.
