The Farmington Scorpions held off the visiting Eldorado Golden Eagles volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Scorpions now have a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host La Cueva for a non-league test on Saturday, October 21. Farmington will confront a Bears team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Sandia (Albuquerque, NM). The Bears record now stands at 8-2.

The Golden Eagles (2-6) will now prepare for their test against West Mesa (Albuquerque, NM). The Mustangs enter the non-league test with a 2-9 record. In their last test, West Mesa was nudged by Piedra Vista (Farmington, NM), 2-0, in a non-league test.
