Illinois High School Volleyball - Astoria/VIT can't hold off Havana
October 17, 2023: Havana, IL 62644 In Tuesday's league battle, the host Havana Ducks volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Astoria/VIT Rebels.
The Ducks (12-17) will now prepare for their battle against Avon (Avon, IL). The Trojans come into the Prairieland battle with a 0-0 record.
Next, the Rebels clash with the Triopia/Virginia Trojans (Concord, IL) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, October 18. Astoria/VIT will attempt to advance on its 3-21 season record. The Trojans come into the battle with a 22-9 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Calvary (Springfield, IL).
