In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Lake Norman Charter Knights (Huntersville, NC) volleyball squad nudged the host Carson Cougars (China Grove, NC), by a margin of 3-2.

Next up, the Knights face the West Rowan Falcons (Mt. Ulla, NC) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, October 18. Lake Norman Charter will attempt to better on its 20-2 season record. The Falcons go into the contest with a 17-6 record after their 3-2 non-league win over South Rowan (China Grove, NC).

With the loss, Carson moves to 15-11 on the year.
