The La Feria Lions walloped the host Grulla Gators football team by a score of 50-0 in Thursday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Lions face the Port Isabel Tarpons (Port Isabel, TX) in a 4A-2 Region IV District 16 challenge, on Friday, October 25. La Feria will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record. The Tarpons go into the challenge with a 7-1 record after their 48-19 league win over King (Kingsville, TX).

The Gators (1-6) will now prepare for their challenge against King (Kingsville, TX). The Brahmas go into the 4A-2 Region IV District 16 challenge with a 6-2 record. In their last challenge, King was ripped by Port Isabel (Port Isabel, TX), 48-19, in a league challenge.
