Maine High School Soccer - Hampden nudged by Hermon
October 17, 2024: Hampden, ME 04444 Hermon Hawks (Hermon, ME) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the host Hampden Broncos (Hampden, ME), 3-2 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Hermon moves its record to 10-2 on the campaign. The Hawks host Presque Isle (Presque Isle, ME) to meet the Wildcats in a Class B - North test on Saturday, October 19. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 5-6. Presque Isle won 1-0 in their recent league test against Caribou (Caribou, ME)
The Broncos now sport a 5-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Messalonskee for a Class A - North test on Friday, October 18. Hampden will meet a Eagles team coming off a 1-0 league win over Mt. Blue (Farmington, ME). The Eagles record now stands at 4-7.
