Colorado High School Soccer - Horizon nudges Monarch
October 17, 2024: Louisville, CO 80027 Fans at Thursday's league battle between the Horizon Hawks (Thornton, CO) and the host Monarch Coyotes (Louisville, CO), saw Horizon's soccer squad hold off Monarch by a count of 1-0.
The Hawks (7-4) will now prepare for their battle against Legacy (Broomfield, CO). The Lightning enter the 5A Granite Peaks battle with a 9-4 record. In their last battle, Legacy was edged by Broomfield (Broomfield, CO), 4-1, in a league battle.
Next up, the Coyotes confront the Erie Tigers (Erie, CO) in a 5A Granite Peaks battle, on Tuesday, October 22. Monarch will attempt to upgrade on its 5-8 season record. The Tigers enter the battle with a 7-5 record after their 2-1 league loss to Broomfield (Broomfield, CO).
