Virginia High School Volleyball - Phoebus over Gloucester
October 17, 2024: Hampton, VA 23663 Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Phoebus Phantoms (Hampton, VA) and the visiting Gloucester Dukes (Gloucester, VA), observed Phoebus's volleyball team top Gloucester by a count of 3-0.
The Phantoms (10-8) will now prepare for their contest against Menchville (Newport News, VA). The Monarchs enter the Peninsula contest with a 19-2 record. In their last contest, Menchville notched a victory over Hampton (Hampton, VA), 3-0, in a league contest.
Next, the Dukes meet the Heritage Hurricanes (Newport News, VA) in a Peninsula contest, on Tuesday, October 22. Gloucester will attempt to move on its 8-12 season record. The Hurricanes enter the contest with a 7-11 record after their 3-0 league loss to Bethel (Hampton, VA).
