October 17, 2024: Hondo, NM 88336 Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Reserve Mountaineers (Reserve, NM) and the host Hondo Valley Eagles (Hondo, NM), observed Reserve's volleyball team top Hondo Valley by a count of 3-0.
The Mountaineers (12-3) will now prepare for their contest against Cimarron (Cimarron, NM). The Rams enter the non-league contest with a 8-8 record. In their last contest, Cimarron notched a victory over Wagon Mound (Wagon Mound, NM), 3-0, in a league contest.
Next, the Eagles battle the Clovis Christian Eagles (Clovis, NM) in a non-league contest, on Friday, October 18. Hondo Valley will attempt to move on its 6-11 season record. The Eagles enter the contest with a 7-5 record after their 3-0 league loss to Logan (Logan, NM).
