The Marion Giants football squad scored 58 points and limited the visiting Anderson Indians to 21 in the Giants league triumph on Friday.

The Giants now sport a 2-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Muncie Central for a non-league challenge on Friday, October 24. Marion will face a Bearcats team coming off a 55-21 league loss to Lafayette Jefferson (Lafayette, IN). The Bearcats record now stands at 5-4.

The Indians (1-8) will now prepare for their outing against Cathedral (Indianapolis, IN). The Fighting Irish come into the non-league outing with a 6-3 record. In their last outing, Cathedral trounced Warren Central (Indianapolis, IN), 28-21, in a non-league outing.
