Muncie Central Bearcats (Muncie, IN) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Marion Giants (Marion, IN), 41-21 in a league battle.

With the win, Muncie Central advances its record to 2-3 on the season. The Bearcats host Richmond (Richmond, IN) to play the Red Devils in a North Central battle on Friday, September 26. The Red Devils go into the battle with a record of 1-4. Richmond lost 64-6 in their recent league battle against Lafayette Jefferson (Lafayette, IN)

The Giants now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Kokomo for a North Central battle on Friday, September 26. Marion will play a Wildkats team coming off a 56-6 league win over Anderson (Anderson, IN). The Wildkats record now stands at 1-4.
