The Lafayette Jefferson Bronchos football squad scored 55 points and limited the visiting Muncie Central Bearcats to 21 in the Bronchos league triumph on Friday.

The Bronchos now hold a 8-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to McCutcheon for a non-league test on Friday, October 31. Lafayette Jefferson will face a Mavericks team coming off a 23-13 non-league loss to Indianapolis Lutheran (Indianapolis, IN). The Mavericks record now stands at 2-7.

The Bearcats (5-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Marion (Marion, IN). The Giants go into the non-league challenge with a 2-7 record. In their last challenge, Marion bounced Anderson (Anderson, IN), 58-21, in a league challenge.
