October 17, 2025: Monroe, NC 28112

The Monroe Redhawks (Monroe, NC) football overcame the visiting Anson Bearcats (Wadesboro, NC), 32-20 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Redhawks battle the Mount Pleasant Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, NC) in a Rocky River 4A/5A game, on Friday, October 24. Monroe will attempt to better on its 4-3 season record. The Tigers enter the game with a 6-2 record after their 33-14 league win over Parkwood (Monroe, NC).

The Bearcats (1-7) will now prepare for their game against Forest Hills (Marshville, NC). The Yellow Jackets enter the Rocky River 4A/5A game with a 7-1 record. In their last game, Forest Hills notched a victory over West Stanly (Oakboro, NC), 41-28, in a league game.
