The Belton Tigers football team (Belton, TX), was tipped 33-27 in Friday's league bout with the host University Trojans (Waco, TX)

With the win, University advances its record to 4-3 on the season. The Trojans travel to Waco (Waco, TX) to confront the Lions in a 5A-2 Region III District 10 contest on Friday, October 24. The Lions enter the contest with a record of 0-7. Waco lost 56-7 in their recent league contest against Ellison (Killeen, TX)

Coming up next, the Tigers confront the Rudder Rangers (Bryan, TX) in a 5A-2 Region III District 10 battle, on Friday, October 24. Belton will attempt to advance on its 3-4 season record. The Rangers go into the battle with a 1-6 record after their 53-13 league loss to Brenham (Brenham, TX).
