The Show Low Cougars football squad scored 21 points and limited the visiting Blue Ridge Yellow Jackets to 14 in the Cougars league victory on Friday.

In their next game, the Cougars face the Shadow Mountain Matadors (Phoenix, AZ) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, October 24. Show Low will attempt to improve on its 6-2 season record. The Matadors enter the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 41-0 league win over Wickenburg (Wickenburg, AZ).

The Yellow Jackets (4-4) will now prepare for their challenge against ALA - Mesa North (Mesa, AZ). The Mavericks enter the 3A Mountain challenge with a 2-6 record. In their last challenge, ALA - Mesa North was edged by Apache Junction (Apache Junction, AZ), 18-7, in a league challenge.
