Round Valley Elks (Eagar, AZ) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team nip the visiting Show Low Cougars (Show Low, AZ), 28-21 in a league battle.

With the win, Round Valley advances its record to 6-1 on the year. The Elks travel to San Tan Foothills (Queen Creek, AZ) to confront the Sabercats in a non-league match on Friday, October 17. The Sabercats enter the match with a record of 0-7. San Tan Foothills lost 61-0 in their recent league match against Thatcher (Thatcher, AZ)

Coming up next, the Cougars confront the Blue Ridge Yellow Jackets (Lakeside, AZ) in a 3A Mountain match, on Friday, October 17. Show Low will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record.
