South Carolina High School Football - Travelers Rest edged by Blue Ridge

The Blue Ridge Fighting Tigers tipped the host Travelers Rest Devildogs football squad by a margin of 27-24 in Friday's league test.

The Fighting Tigers now sport a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they host Daniel for a AAAA Region 2 test on Friday, October 24. Blue Ridge will meet a Lions squad coming off a 52-7 league win over Pickens (Pickens, SC). The Lions record now stands at 7-1.

The Devildogs (2-6) will now prepare for their outing against Berea (Greenville, SC). The Bulldogs come into the AAAA Region 2 outing with a 1-7 record. In their last outing, Berea was nipped by Walhalla (Walhalla, SC), 35-14, in a non-league outing.
