The Valley View Blazers football squad scored 48 points and limited the visiting Brookland Bearcats to 14 in the Blazers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Blazers now hold a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Greene County Tech for a non-league test on Friday, October 24. Valley View will meet a Golden Eagles squad coming off a 34-3 league loss to Nettleton (Jonesboro, AR). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 1-6.

With the defeat, Brookland moves to 1-6 on the season. The Bearcats host Batesville (Batesville, AR) to face the Pioneers in a 5A East challenge on Friday, October 24. The Pioneers go into the challenge with a record of 2-5. Batesville won 36-35 in their recent league challenge against Wynne (Wynne, AR)
