North Carolina High School Football - Perquimans sneaks past Camden County

The Perquimans Pirates football squad scored 19 points and limited the visiting Camden County Bruins to 14 in the Pirates league triumph on Friday.

The Pirates now sport a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Holmes for a Albemarle (AAC) 2A test on Friday, October 24. Perquimans will face a Aces team coming off a 56-28 league win over Bertie (Windsor, NC). The Aces record now stands at 4-4.

The Bruins (3-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Manteo (Manteo, NC). The Redskins enter the Albemarle (AAC) 2A challenge with a 5-2 record. In their last challenge, Manteo was edged by Gates County (Gatesville, NC), 36-22, in a league challenge.
