The Holmes Aces football squad scored 51 points and limited the visiting Camden County Bruins to 7 in the Aces league triumph on Friday.

The Aces now hold a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Gates County for a Albemarle (AAC) 2A test on Friday, October 10. Holmes will meet a Red Barons squad coming off a 14-0 league win over Perquimans (Hertford, NC). The Red Barons record now stands at 2-4.

With the defeat, Camden County drops to 2-4 on the campaign. The Bruins host Bertie (Windsor, NC) to meet the Falcons in a Albemarle (AAC) 2A challenge on Friday, October 10. The Falcons go into the challenge with a record of 0-6. Bertie lost 28-12 in their recent league challenge against Manteo (Manteo, NC)
