North Carolina High School Football - Holmes wallops First Flight

September 19, 2025: Edenton, NC 27932

The Holmes Aces football squad scored 75 points and limited the visiting First Flight Nighthawks to 20 in the Aces non-league triumph on Friday.

The Aces now hold a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they host Camden County for a Albemarle (AAC) 2A challenge on Friday, October 3.

The Nighthawks (1-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Martin County (Williamston, NC). The Gators go into the Northeastern Coastal 3A/4A/5A challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Martin County triumphed over Greene Central (Snow Hill, NC), 38-14, in a non-league test.
