North Carolina High School Football - Northeastern trounces First Flight

October 10, 2025: Elizabeth City, NC 27909

In Friday's league match, the host Northeastern Eagles football squad scored a decisive 47-6 triumph over the First Flight Nighthawks.

The Eagles (5-2) will now prepare for their match against Hertford County (Ahoskie, NC). The Bears come into the Northeastern Coastal 3A/4A/5A match with a 4-3 record. In their last match, Hertford County was ripped by Currituck County (Barco, NC), 37-14, in a league battle.

The Nighthawks now have a 1-6 record. They play next when they host Pasquotank County for a Northeastern Coastal 3A/4A/5A battle on Friday, October 17. First Flight will play a Panthers team coming off a 14-0 league loss to Martin County (Williamston, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 5-2.
