North Carolina High School Football - Hertford County defeated by Northeastern

In Friday's league game, the Northeastern Eagles (Elizabeth City, NC) football team were victorious over the visiting Hertford County Bears (Ahoskie, NC), by a margin of 31-6.

The Eagles now sport a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Martin County for a Northeastern Coastal 3A/4A/5A outing on Friday, October 24. Northeastern will clash with a Gators squad coming off a 35-29 league win over Currituck County (Barco, NC). The Gators record now stands at 6-2.

With the defeat, Hertford County drops to 4-4 on the campaign. The Bears travel to First Flight (Kill Devil Hills, NC) to clash with the Nighthawks in a Northeastern Coastal 3A/4A/5A outing on Friday, October 24. The Nighthawks come into the outing with a record of 1-7. First Flight lost 56-0 in their recent league outing against Pasquotank County (Elizabeth City, NC)
