The Martin County Gators football team (Williamston, NC), was tipped 14-13 in Friday's league bout with the visiting Northeastern Eagles (Elizabeth City, NC)

With the win, Northeastern advances its record to 7-2 on the season. The Eagles travel to Pasquotank County (Elizabeth City, NC) to encounter the Panthers in a Northeastern Coastal 3A/4A/5A bout on Friday, October 31. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 6-3. Pasquotank County lost 34-33 in their recent league bout against Currituck County (Barco, NC)

The Gators now own a 6-3 record. They play next when they travel to Hertford County for a Northeastern Coastal 3A/4A/5A bout on Friday, October 31. Martin County will encounter a Bears team coming off a 30-14 league win over First Flight (Kill Devil Hills, NC). The Bears record now stands at 5-4.
