Lake Cormorant (Lake Cormorant, MS) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Center Hill Mustangs (Olive Branch, MS), 30-7 in a league battle.

With the win, Lake Cormorant advances its record to 5-2 on the season. The host Saltillo (Saltillo, MS) to play the Tigers in a 6A Region 1 battle on Friday, October 24. The Tigers go into the battle with a record of 3-5. Saltillo lost 52-26 in their recent league battle against South Panola (Batesville, MS)

The Mustangs now have a 3-4 record. They play next when they host Olive Branch for a 6A Region 1 battle on Friday, October 24. Center Hill will play a Conquistadors team coming off a 48-6 league loss to Grenada (Grenada, MS). The Conquistadors record now stands at 1-6.
