Lake Cormorant (Lake Cormorant, MS) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Saltillo Tigers (Saltillo, MS), 41-7 in a league battle.

The (6-2) will now prepare for their match against Grenada (Grenada, MS). The Chargers enter the 6A Region 1 match with a 6-2 record. In their last match, Grenada was routed by South Panola (Batesville, MS), 48-41, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Tigers confront the Center Hill Mustangs (Olive Branch, MS) in a 6A Region 1 match, on Friday, October 31. Saltillo will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Mustangs enter the match with a 4-4 record after their 32-15 league win over Olive Branch (Olive Branch, MS).
