Texas High School Football - Central Catholic prevails St. Michael's

October 17, 2025: San Antonio, TX 78215

In Friday's league match, the host Central Catholic Buttons football squad scored a good 31-23 triumph over the St. Michael's Warriors.

The Buttons now hold a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they host Long Creek for a non-league test on Friday, October 24. Central Catholic will meet a Dragons squad coming off a 57-16 non-league loss to Richland (Prosper, TX). The Dragons record now stands at 4-3.

With the defeat, St. Michael's moves to 3-4 on the season. The Warriors host Savio (Austin, TX) to face the Eagles in a TAPPS Division I District 2 challenge on Friday, October 24. The Eagles go into the challenge with a record of 0-8. Savio lost 53-8 in their recent league challenge against Concordia Lutheran (Tomball, TX)
