The Cornerstone Christian Chargers football team (Columbiana, AL), was tipped 44-38 in Friday's league bout with the visiting Macon-East Montgomery Academy Knights (Cecil, AL)

The Knights (8-0) will now prepare for their contest against Coosa Valley Academy (Harpersville, AL). The Rebels enter the AISA 8-Man (8 Man) contest with a 4-4 record. In their last contest, Coosa Valley Academy got by North River Christian (Tuscaloosa, AL), 68-0, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Chargers battle the Heritage Christian Academy Eagles (Hoover, AL) in a AISA 8-Man (8 Man) contest, on Friday, October 24. Cornerstone Christian will attempt to better on its 6-2 season record. The Eagles enter the contest with a 0-8 record after their 62-0 league loss to Escambia Academy (Atmore, AL).
