In Thursday's league game, the Macon-East Montgomery Academy Knights (Cecil, AL) football team triumphed over the visiting Springwood Wildcats (Lanett, AL), by a tally of 50-8.

In their next game, the Knights battle the Cornerstone Christian Chargers (Columbiana, AL) in a AISA 8-Man (8 Man) game, on Friday, October 17. Macon-East Montgomery Academy will attempt to move on its 7-0 season record. The Chargers come into the outing with a 6-1 record after their 42-14 league loss to Escambia Academy (Atmore, AL).

With the defeat, Springwood drops to 3-5 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Southern Prep Academy (Camp Hill, AL) to clash with the Rangers in a AISA 8-Man (8 Man) outing on Friday, October 17.
