Texas High School Football - Montwood falls to Coronado

The Coronado Thunderbirds felled the host Montwood Rams football team by a score of 48-35 in Friday's league challenge.

Next, the Thunderbirds meet the Eastwood Troopers (El Paso, TX) in a 6A Region I District 1 test, on Friday, October 24. Coronado will attempt to move on its 2-5 season record. The Troopers come into the test with a 7-1 record after their 17-14 league win over Pebble Hills (El Paso, TX).

With the defeat, Montwood drops to 0-8 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Eastwood (El Paso, TX) to face the Troopers in a 6A Region I District 1 challenge on Thursday, October 30. The Troopers enter the challenge with a record of 7-1.
