The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Crenshaw Cougars (Los Angeles, CA) and the host Fremont Pathfinders (Los Angeles, CA), witnessed Crenshaw's football squad topple Fremont by a count of 27-6.

The Cougars (7-1) will now prepare for their match against King/Drew (Los Angeles, CA). The Golden Eagles enter the Coliseum match with a 7-1 record. In their last match, King/Drew thwarted Dorsey (Los Angeles, CA), 17-16, in a league match.

Next up, the Pathfinders play the Maywood CES Wolfpack (Maywood, CA) in a Southern battle, on Friday, October 24. Fremont will attempt to advance on its 3-5 season record. The Wolfpack go into the battle with a 5-3 record after their 27-6 non-league loss to George Washington Prep (Los Angeles, CA).
