In Friday's non-league game, the Douglass Eagles (Upper Marlboro, MD) football team crushed the host Friendly Patriots (Fort Washington, MD), by a final score of 62-0.

With the win, Douglass advances its record to 6-1 on the season. The Eagles host Fairmont Heights (Capitol Heights, MD) to encounter the Hornets in a Class 2A East bout on Friday, October 24. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 3-4. Fairmont Heights won 20-2 in their recent non-league bout against Surrattsville (Clinton, MD)
