Father Lopez Green Wave (Daytona Beach, FL) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Halifax Academy Knights (Daytona Beach, FL), 54-6 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Father Lopez advances its record to 5-3 on the season. The Green Wave travel to Umatilla (Umatilla, FL) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league battle on Friday, October 24. The Bulldogs go into the battle with a record of 9-0. Umatilla won 42-0 in their recent non-league battle against Taylor (Pierson, FL)

The Knights now have a 1-8 record. They play next when they travel to Geneva for a non-league battle on Friday, October 24. Halifax Academy will play a Knights team coming off a 40-7 non-league loss to West Oaks Academy (Orlando, FL). The Knights record now stands at 0-9.
