The Taylor Wildcats football team (Pierson, FL), dropped 20-6 in Friday's non-league bout with the visiting Halifax Academy Knights (Daytona Beach, FL)

With the win, Halifax Academy advances its record to 1-5 on the season. The Knights travel to Baker County (Glen St. Mary, FL) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league contest on Friday, October 3. The Wildcats enter the contest with a record of 2-4. Baker County lost 17-13 in their recent league contest against Godby (Tallahassee, FL)

The Wildcats now own a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Williston for a non-league bout on Friday, October 10.
