In Friday's non-league game, the Fort Cherry Rangers (McDonald, PA) football squad trounced the host Shenango Wildcats (New Castle, PA), by a margin of 42-0.

The Rangers now sport a 9-0 record. They take the field next when they host Serra Catholic for a WPIAL A Black Hills outing on Friday, October 24. Fort Cherry will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 29-0 league win over Burgettstown (Burgettstown, PA). The Eagles record now stands at 2-7.

With the defeat, Shenango falls to 3-6 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Summit Academy (Herman, PA) to face the Knights in a WPIAL A Big 7 game on Saturday, October 25.
