North Carolina High School Football - Freedom beat South Caldwell

October 17, 2025: Hudson, NC 28638

The Freedom Patriots (Morganton, NC) football were winner over the host South Caldwell Spartans (Hudson, NC), 56-35 in Friday's league outing.

The Patriots now sport a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they host Alexander Central for a Northwestern 6A/7A game on Friday, October 24. Freedom will face a Cougars team coming off a 42-20 league loss to Watauga (Boone, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 2-6.

The Spartans (2-6) will now prepare for their game against St. Stephens (Hickory, NC). The Indians enter the Northwestern 6A/7A game with a 4-4 record. In their last game, St. Stephens achieved victory over McDowell (Marion, NC), 41-16, in a league outing.
