The Southwest Christian School Eagles football squad scored 49 points and limited the visiting Grapevine Faith Christian Lions to 35 in the Eagles league triumph on Friday.
The Eagles now hold a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fort Worth Christian for a TAPPS Division II District 1 test on Friday, October 24. Southwest Christian School will meet a Cardinals squad coming off a 31-24 league loss to Midland Christian (Midland, TX). The Cardinals record now stands at 6-1.
With the defeat, Grapevine Faith Christian drops to 4-3 on the campaign. The Lions host Trinity Christian (Lubbock, TX) to play the Lions in a TAPPS Division II District 1 challenge on Friday, October 24. The Lions go into the challenge with a record of 3-4. Trinity Christian lost 38-30 in their recent league challenge against All Saints (Fort Worth, TX)
