In Friday's league match, the host Midland Christian Mustangs football squad scored a good 58-30 victory over the Grapevine Faith Christian Lions.

The Mustangs (6-3) will now prepare for their match against Trinity Christian (Lubbock, TX). The Lions enter the TAPPS Division II District 1 match with a 4-5 record. In their last match, Trinity Christian thwarted Southwest Christian School (Fort Worth, TX), 24-14, in a league battle.

The Lions now own a 5-4 record. They play next when they host Fort Worth Christian for a TAPPS Division II District 1 battle on Friday, November 7.
