The Mason Punchers football squad scored 54 points and limited the visiting Harper Longhorns to 7 in the Punchers league triumph on Friday.

The Punchers now sport a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Holland for a 2A-1 Region IV District 14 game on Friday, October 24. Mason will face a Hornets team coming off a 49-28 league loss to Johnson City (Johnson City, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 1-6.

The Longhorns (4-3) will now prepare for their game against San Saba (San Saba, TX). The Armadillos enter the 2A-1 Region IV District 14 game with a 4-3 record. In their last game, San Saba was overwhelmed by Thorndale (Thorndale, TX), 28-24, in a league outing.
